Ridgid RD80702 Pressure Washer First Start

Picked up a Ridgid pressure washer on clearance at the Home Depot. Got her cheap but after pay for what parts where missing, got a little closer to original price but not too close. I will keep ya posted on how she works, since a lot of people having problems with this Robin engine with EFI(Electronic Fuel Injection). Has a lot of power with the 40 degree nozzle, have to try out the other ones but keep it way for the cars' paint. LOL. Thanks for Watching, Click LIKE if you like and SUBSCRIBE.

much easier to start if you pull trigger on sprayer at the same time as pulling rope to start engine. relieves the pressure

There is a label above the starter pull that will save you all of that excess effort in trying to start her. I didn't read it until after the first couple of failed attempts either. :) In short, it says to switch the kill switch to "off". Pull cord 4 times. Switch kill switch back to "on" and pull to start. Works EVERY time for me!

I have the exact same 1 when I pull the pull start to start it after squeeze the water handle it pulls over turning the pump

I know I’ve got the older version and to be honest it has been the best power washer out there I don’t care what anybody says but I’ve always used pressure washers a in the work and the hourly thing what’s missing from this washer is the hot water tank

just picked up Same unit - $300 buck CAD used - Owner says used 5 times , now does not Start , it is a EFI model , Sprayed Brake Cleaner down intake and it Starts , so mine is a Fuel ISSUE ,

I've got the nozzles shown in the video, not the quick connect that every other video shows. How do you get those nozzles on and off?

Could you elaborate on the issues with the Subaru engine or direct me to a site that talks about it? I am looking at a Ridgid RD80945 and a Maxus MX5433 with a Honda engine.

Hi, I can't find it on line where I found it but some people had issues with the EFI model. I don't use mine much since I am a consumer. Only issue I got with it is, after it runs you can't pull start it unless the water pressure from hose is off. Have to research that this summer. It runs great though, about 8-10 hours on it.

Finally found it, the EFI model after use will not want to start again. Even with 10 pull nothing. Some said, set to off, pull 4 times then turn on a pull. Its just for the EFI model in mine. Hope this helps.

I've had mine over five years. Had to buy springs for the pump, but other than that its still running good. put a gauge on it today still 3300 PSI

@@BigAlWillis just picked up same unit used !!! Does not Start EFI - Owner says used Few Times , also have the Carburedted unit, will try to start 2021 for the Carbureted unit ,

@@jonienglish3231 likely carb dirty. I replaced mine this year with OEM runs like new. try cleaning the carb and check the spark plug. if its been sitting long change the fuel.

@@BigAlWillis Thanks for Reply JASON it does not have a CARB, my unit is Electronic Fuel Injection ? the seller told me only Ran few Times and i Guess just SAT . i will try to Examine on the weekend
