That cursed shield from ff6 is another one in its base form its God awful it makes the character who equipped it suffer -7 to Strength, Speed, Stamina, and Magic and no boosts to Defense, Evasion, Magic Defense, and Magic Evasion. It inflicts doom, silence, berserk, confusion, and sap on the wearer as well as making the the user weak to Fire, Ice, Lightning,Poison, Earth, and Water elements but when you survive 256 battles with it equipped it becomes the best shield in the game

crash bandicoot 4 106% completion is a great example the game demands perfect gameplay and the sharpest of eyes to find every collectible necessary, all for like a 6 second cutscene

Wait so the suit of armor is LESS effective in the remake? From what I recall of the OG Resident Evil 4 she could even tank a rocket in that thing, with no problem. As for her face, it would automatically drop down the visor anytime you tried aiming at her. it was straight-up impossible to harm her with the knight suit on. At least enemies still cannot pick her up. You didn't have to worry about her at all in the OG version. The only downsides I'd say other than appearance was the clanking as she ran around. Or having to catch her when she jumped down from a ladder, and poor Leon nearly throwing his back out from catching her LOL.

Tbf Ashely does get a HUGE overall buff in the remake ( i mean the removal of the health bar alone makes her so much less annoying to babysit but thats not all she actually tries to help leon (she's not a "partner" npc but she's still actually useful), instead of cowering like a moron when she's playable she actually tries to fight off enemies you even get a lamp that slows down the knights allowing you to out maneuver them, lastly she actually fucking listens to leon when he tells her to get out of the damn way and doesn't just crouch when aimed at trying to get an enemy behind her), so balancing it by making it so only explosives and shooting her in the face can actually harm her makes sense she got such a huge overall buff that keeping it as op as in the original doesn't make sense the chances of you accidentally blowing her up are astronomically low with the new buffs

I'm gonna shout-out the "Goth" series of armor sets in SMT 4 Apocalypse. Gothic lolita outfits on a male protag in an SMT title, boadting some amazing stat boosts and superb elemental resistances. Never has demon hunting look so chiche.

I would also suggest the Cold War Camo from Metal Gear Solid 3. Its just the flags of the USSR and the US as a suit, and its bright colors make it look rather silly, but it stops enemy soldiers from firing at you if you stare at them. Quite useful at some parts of the game.

Flan from tofu survivor in re2 remake (it's the only way 4th survivor isnt a pain in the ass yes im still salty instead of a whole new campaign with my boy Hunk we get a bs 10 minute mad dash with a set loadout) essentially you get the 2 most powerful weapons in the game the rocket launcher and minigun (they are so powerful you only get them in the main story right before the final boss of each story) as well as the spark shot (a supped up taser that does more damage the longer you aim at the enemy until the needle finally explodes which yes also does damage) as well as a few flashbangs Also i hate how they changed the options in L.A Noir it made sense in the original if you think they're telling the truth tou pick truth if you think they are lying you press lie if you aren't sure press doubt now its just good cop bad cop and accuse way too vague
