I'm glad Mr. Spaghetti has a cool head and is able to restore order to his herd. Guinea pigs are such fascinating creatures. A lot of people don't realize they do have a pecking order, if you will, and they do fight/challenge in order to maintain that pecking order or to move up a notch. I love Mr. Spaghetti, he's such a handsome boy.

Thanks! It helps that we have learned a lot about their culture through observing them so much! In the first week or two Spaghett and Zucchin had some standoffs and we weren't sure who was going to come out on top. But eventually Spaghett prevailed and no one has questioned him since.

Sometimes I can accidentally get in the way of my pigs when they have a bit of a squabble with each other so it sometimes happen that I get bitten instead but what I've noticed is that when mine do that really quick jump bite/nibble is that it's super loose and it doesn't hurt at all! It can look a bit scary but they're not out to hurt each other which is very reassuring.
