I understand that you edited footage of when you gave them a bath, but even when you bath them you should only have the minimum amount of water needed. I would like to end on a positive note. got this in my recommended and i am extremely disgusted. allow me to break down the reply this channel is giving to everyone who is pointing out how bad this is for the pigs. "don't worry I made this video by the combination of a green screen, after effect, their yearly bathing time, etc . they were totally safe. I love my guinea pig." green-screen / after effects i don't exactly understand this part however i do see that the little setup is edited onto an image of a road? in a forest? and there is some editing to make it look like both pigs are side by side at some points but it's just the one pig. Either way that is still footage of a guinea pig swimming to save its' life. yearly bathing time first of all, swimming =/= bathing. when you bathe a pig, the water should not be deep enough to the point where they can swim in it and on top of that, the water they are in should be clean, soapy water; not whatever that filth is. You should also be holding the pig in a way that makes them feel safe and secure, not just be letting them fight for their lives while you record it. In conclusion, this video is not cute or funny. you are watching two pigs fight for their lives just so someone can get clicks by advertising this as "funny guinea pig Olympics". Also, these pigs don't understand that they're "safe", all they know is that they're trapped in really deep water and have to either swim or drown. I understand you can pick them up at any time but they don't know that. these pigs were put into an extremely stressful situation for no reason at all. PLEASE DO RESEARCH AND DON'T DO THIS WITH YOUR PIGS!

Don't take any examples from this video people. 1. Guinea pigs hate water 2. Bath in deep water like that is bad for their skin. Always consult a vet before the bath. Vet will sell you special guinea pig shampoo. 3. Never keep guinea pig wet for too long. Always have a towel or hairdryer and dry her as quick as possible. I have a bad experience when I wasn't home my brother and my mom bathed the pig, dryed her with a towel but her skin was still wet. Window was open in the kitchen and the guinea pig got pneumonia. Died 2days later :( I was MAD

While guinea pigs can swim, it does not mean you should make them swim. This is very cruel to make your pigs swim when they can’t leave if they want to. This is very unacceptable and makes me sad. I have guinea pigs and would never put them in water except for a bath. Even the baths I would give them would have water that was shallow so that they would not have to fight for their lives! I know that the reason this is going around and you decided to post this video is because people think it is cute and it gets views or likes, but this is not ok! You should not have to almost drown your pets to get views. Not only is this Endangering the pigs health, but New Guinea pig owners will not know any better and try to make their pigs swim! This user keeps repeating in every cruel guinea pig video that he used a "combination of green screen and after effects), and doesn't even try to explain any of the effects he used or how he made the masking so realistic. Anyone who believes his bullshit is naive and stupid. I'm a graphic design student and made many realiztic animations using after effects and know how people use after effects and premiere pro on their videos, but this is obvious that the guinea pigs were forced to swim and literaly trying not to drown. Yes he did duplicate the guinea pig using after effects since he couldn't get the two guinea pigs in the water at the same time, but the swimming is real, unless he almost drowns his guinea pigs in water when bathing them. Just adds "I love my guinea pig" at the end of every cruel video when I doubt he knows a thing about guinea pigs, even letting them consume hot glue and fake grass in other videos.

This is so sad to watch, DO NOT DO THIS TO YOUR GUINEA PIGS, this is so stressful for the Guinea pigs they are fighting for their lifes, dont put Guinea pigs in water unless you vet tells you its mandatory, in that case fill up a small bin about an inch full then softly rinse the Guinea pig.
