And... the 10-minute format is just an artifact of “old KZbin.” There’s nothing about it related to ad revenue apart from the “bite-size” aspect of it. 10 minutes isn’t “the minimum threshold” for anything; it’s just... how long the video is.

That's not actually true. Falling speed plays into survivability off the top and since Dedede is the 2nd fastest faller in the game, combined with his weight, he becomes absolutely one of the, if not, the hardest character to kill at the top.

At 3:06, Ness used his Side Smash to hit the Gordo back to King Dedede. Dedede inhaled the Gordo and sent it back to Ness, but the Reflector hitbox from his Side Smash was still active, so it reflected the Gordo back to Dedede, killing him. (edit) If you slow down the video to 0.25x, you can see the action unfold there.
