I paid like $300 for an ADA MP1 like 3 years ago. Today you’d maybe pay around $500ish for one. But Billy does NOT fetch 10x the price. I’m sorry. It’s a tube preamp. From the 80s. It does 2 or 3 things and that’s it.

I had the ADA mp1 preamp back in 93, going through a 1970's Marshall master volume head and cab. One of the best metal tones to this day!!

The Vader melted my brain. That's not even a buy-it-now-so-you-don't-have-to-wait kind of price level. I wouldn't care if Jimi Hendrix came back from the dead and wiped his ass with it, no Kiesel guitar in existence is worth $7500 used.

For real. I love my Kiesel and I'm sure that guitar is actually pretty good but there's nothing they make that is worth that much, especially used. All in, including the pickup mod, that's probably a $2300 guitar brand new, worth maybe 2/3 of that AT BEST and probably less given all the wear and tear.

I bought a mini pink Jay Turser guitar at a pawn shop just to see if it would shred. It would not stay in tune at all, I mean look at it cross eyed and each string would go a whole step out of tune in each direction, it was horribad. As far as the Vader... Lol $750 TOPS, PERIOD... This listing even falls out of the category of Ridiculous and into a new, "Moronic Reverb Listings" or maybe "Reverb Listings by Dumb Asses" would be something more accurate...

I actually own a Jay Turser shark guitar lol, it was the first guitar I ever got at 9 years old. Pulled it out of storage a few months ago, and yeah. It LITERALLY goes out of tune under 30 seconds after you tune it. Pretty disappointing lol.

Jay Turser made some good guitars. The Shark is cool looking but has tuning stability issues. It's the real deal tho. They came in 3/4 and full scale lengths. $600 lofl, it's worth about $200-$250 tops!

There is someone charging $3,000 for the KHDK Nergal boost pedal. They are a limited edition item. They were sold 333 last Easter, and just a month ago, on pre order for another 333. Making a total of 666. They sold for $250. A lot of people sell them for $400-$666 since they were limited. But $3,000?! You should feature this on your next episode.

These were good but the ADA isn't ridiculous. Sure, it's ridiculous from a player standpoint but it's a collectable item. You aren't just buying any old ADA MP1, you're buying the one used by a famous guy on a famous album and the ensuing tour. It's a collectible piece of music history. Is it worth $5k? Who knows, but it's not ridiculous.

I've owned a Carvin V220 for 30 years, and bought a Kiesel DC600X last year. I love 'em both, but this Vader ain't worth $7,500, even if it were played on tour with Vader himself. But hey, if someone feels compelled to spend that much on a guitar I can buy new for $1,669 ... go for it, suckers!
