Shame that so much of this tune is the studio version and they're just performing on top of it - BUT - trying to sing in that low register in a large venue is nearly impossible, and a band would get pretty bored playing the background music. Definitely one of the coolest tunes ever written though, with nearly unbelievable syncopation in the vocal lines.
