Riding a mustang at liberty in Montana USA (Matthias Geysen)

This is a 8 year old mustang named Nimh.
He was captured in Jackson Mountain, Nevada at 4 years old.
I gave a 5 day clinic in Montana (USA) during this clinic I worked with him.
We started with some groundwork to get a nice connection between both of us.
After this I rode him with a neckrope to see how he was responding to my body language. After adjusting to each other we were ready for the next step, riding at liberty.
We did this in the arena at first to see how he was responding to this “new thing”. When we had a good connection in this situation as well we were ready to go outside and enjoy being together in a beautiful scenery.

I loved horses ever since I was a little girl, and having watched your video I was surprised that you ride a mustang, because it has always been my dream, at least to see a real wild horse. And when I saw you, riding a mustang, I was shocked. It seems to be a miracle. So, I am afraid to ask, but, for instance, if I come to USA may I try to ride a mustang? I am a student from Ukraine and we don't have wild horses here. That is why I was so happy when I saw that my dream may come true someday. Sorry for such a long message. This is incredible.. I am working hard towards getting a horse in a few years time and when I do, I want to work towards eventually only riding him tackless. It's so amazing being able to get a horse to listen to you and respond and communicate without the use of any tack- only a strong connection. How do you train the horses to be ridden tackless? I'd so love a video on it.
