Riding Baja! - An Off-road Adventure in the Desert

We started a fresh journey as we crossed the US border and began exploring the beauty of the Baja, where chance encounters transformed strangers into newfound friends in the blink of an eye. After resupplying in San Felipe, our adventure took an unexpected turn when a conversation with an ex-motorcycle racer in a supermarket led us to an enchanting stay in Percebu, just half an hour south of San Felipe.
Here, amid abandoned palapas, we discovered a resort story of unfinished dreams, based on an Italian chap attempting to build some boutique accommodation until running into legal problems with the land owners. Consequently, we found the essence of travel-connecting with a warm group of locals, and then immersing ourselves in the desert wilderness, and sleeping under a canopy of stars. It’s always the random and serendipitous moments that make a journey extraordinary.

I just sit watching with a huge smile on my face the whole time. 😁 6:13 💪🏽 It’s amazing how being on a bike and accomplishing something difficult will give you such a natural high. The best type and one of the many draws of life on two wheels. Much deserved smiles.😀 12:00 😂 y’all are hilarious and I love hearing and watching you guys communicate. Picking up those bikes reminds me of how much more I enjoy wrestling my dual sport around than my Norden 901 ADV bike. And I know that was a big part of why you guys chose the 500s over the bigger bikes. No regrets on that decision I’m sure. And Jason you ain’t lying buddy. What a view! So very blessed are you guys to have each other and to share such a spirit of adventure together. I hope to follow in your tracks one day.
