This one hurt to make, but I'm really stoked to share it! Sometimes I need to remind myself that not everything I do online has to be a massive success, and that it's cool to share that stuff too! After all, the sour makes the sweet all that much better :P This one took a while to create, hence the XXL video at 17 minutes long. Thank you all for being so patient between vids - I hope you all enjoy it! p.s. Check out Kevin's channel here for more shreddy vids! kzbin.info/door/4bKHbrzUtRGHnmFfYRaOXA

Progression isn’t always landing and coming out the way you thought it would. Progression is what you learned from the experience for sure. I road a 10 miles trail yesterday. Till this point I’d only ridden four or five miles. It’s was the hardest most technical trail I’ve done yet. But I finished and am hurting all over. But never have I been so proud and felt so accomplished. You Seth, BoBo and Kev have all inspired me so much to push myself.

When I was into BMX dirt jumping, the best thing I ever learned was how to properly get away from the bike in the air. Take a few sessions and learn to push the bike away from you and do it in various positions that would cause a fall. It will build confidence just knowing you can and will have safer crashes.

3:47 that’s metal clad cable AKA “MC.” It comes with electrical wires inside and is a quick alternative to mounting conduit and fishing wires. The scraps tend to be about a foot long because when you pull it, you typically want 6”-12” of slack on the internal wires to make it easier to connect components, and allow for future repairs.

Marque Markofthebeast Honestly I’m new to mtb as well. I know that there’s some pretty sick trails up north around Sedona and flagstaff, if ur willing to drive up there. But for trails closer to me and you, I’ve heard there’s some decent trails around gold canyon and the Superstition mountains. Once it cools down a bit I’m planning to do some more riding and exploring.

THIS is the content we want Alex! Sitting on my couch and watching this made my heart thump just like it does when I myself stand in front of a scary feature. It’s not exhilarating watching Red Bull pros succeed every trick and feature they pursue - it IS when someone uses great video skills and creativity to send you straight into that shaky nervous feeling of make-or-brake that we all crave in mountain biking, as if we’re on the bike ourselves. I love videos like yours, Paul the Punter and Seth because seeing someone else hesitate and fail and try again and again and again is more relatable, vivid and engaging for me as a viewer! Great video! Never stop sharing your fails, dude. When you only see someone's successes or best moments, like is often the case on social media, it takes away some of the most interesting human factor. Seeing people fail, especially those we look up to in terms of skill, reminds us we're all human and we don't have to feel bad when we don't succeed at something as fast as we'd like to.

2 things about mtb’ers... 1- they toss their bodies around like crash test dummies 2- they care about their trails as if it were 1000 year old bonsais

Great that you post these video. It's valuable to so many (me included) to see you battling with the mental side and succeed, especially for us who have the same struggles. So many youtube videos out there of super confident can do anything guys, that you think it's a different breed, But you can do it and represent the middle ground, greying the distinction.

Your tabletop crashing scene and Seth's 360 crashing scene are some of the best things I've seen on youtube.

I love the last slow motion jump you did on the airbag. Hope your feeling better by now. I’m glad to see you were able to get over your fear on the tracks. Keep up the good work with your videos. Would LOVE to ride with you one day.

Alex, it took me 35 years to learn tables!! I literally just learned them a few months ago and it took going to a foam pit and forcing myself to do them. I learned 360s, tailwhips, pretty much all the other cool tricks YEARS before but tables just eluded me. I still can't click them super flat but I can greases them up with humble style :)

Great video, really enjoy seeing the human side. There was a point where you were making videos that were at my level of progression but where skills are involved you have left me far behind! I find it inspiring keep them coming!

Man I always love your attitude towards riding (even if you end up a bit more bruised in the short term lol). You always push that extra bit and that's admirable. Glad you made the vid

Can confirm... the airbag will bring the pain! Haha solid effort though, and major props for even hitting it, it’s kinda crazy flying out of the woods into that bag!!!

I love it whenever you load into the deer tractor, it slowly sinks down. And when you unload it for the jump, it rises up again. It’s so funny!
