EXPAND A-TRAIN IDEA 💡:
It would be convenient if the DCTA A-train connects to DFW Airport Terminal B. Sharing tracks with Trinity METRO TEXRail and DART Rail Silver Line. Faculty/Students/Staff at UNT and TWU could use the train to DFW Airport.

Yess you finally Captured DCTA. I can't wait til they extend This Line to DFW airport. Stadler trains are some of my favorites. Also the APT in Las Colinas is Unfortunately closed indefinitely. So now you can't ride it 🥺

Don't think the plan is to extend to the airport, but rather to connect to the new DART Silver Line.

@@KingAsa5 Hmm...I understood that they're simply extending the A-Train to a Silver Line station, where a cross-platform transfer will happen. This would be at Carrollton. I work in the passenger rail industry, and I've never heard that the A-Train would run over the Silver Line to DFW Airport. Do you have a source?

@@JoeBlack9152 yes. They’re in the NCTOG 2045 planning review and in previous DCTA/DART/DCTA reviews. Look up NCTOG 2045 mobility map and review. It should show it in there

Yes. I've crossed and the conductor/operator didn't say anything.

Nah it's all good. Source: Live in Denton. It's a neat experience, though most people don't realize they are crossing through the engine compartment.
