Riding from the Campsites to the North Head Light and Beyond! (in full 360° view!)

There is so much to see and do at Cape Disappointment State Park that in the five times I've visited in the past two years I still have some bucket-list items to check off...
THIS WAS A BIG ONE!
Navigating this expansive and feature-packed park is perfectly matched with Piper and my love of our scooters. She's on a Segway Nine-Bot Max and I'm on a OneWheel Pint-X. Riding them on the beach was the initial attraction to this particular campground but we've since found this park to be the ultimate playground for folks like us on scooters or e-bikes. Trails and lighthouses, beaches and wonderful amenities...what a great place to get some r & r!
Today we're out to attempt one of my largest and most important bucket-list items. We are scootering today from our campsite at the beach up to the North Head Lighthouse and then on to the southern end of the Long Beach peninsula, an 11 mile ride. It's a remarkably beautiful ride with a good portion of it consisting of smooth, paved bike and walking paths.
