Riding Henry the mechanical horse at HOYS 2018

Last week, I visited the NEC in Birmingham for the Horse of the Year show, and this was one of the highlights of my day.
This is Henry, a Racewood Riding Simulator that is owned by The British Horse Society. He can walk, trot and canter like any other riding simulator but he also has added lateral movements, meaning he swings and rocks from side to side in the walk and trot and he can also tilt to the left or the right in canter depending on the aids given by the rider.
Henry attends the majority of the horse shows that the BHS has a presence. I first met him at last year's Your Horse Live show but he was fully booked and I couldn't get to have a go. However, here at HOYS, I got my opportunity and it was well worth the wait.
