Riding HYPERIA for the FIRST TIME!! - Thorpe Park

Hyperia at Thorpe Park Review? Sort of… pretty much Hyperia opens today.. and the night before, I got a chance to try out the BRAND NEW tallest and fastest rollercoaster in the front row at night!! rode iron gwazi a month ago back row and then this today. Nothing in between. In row 8. It holds up. The inversions beautiful, the drop nutz. It’s big it’s fast it’s powerful smooth floaty the music it’s just great. It’s more floaty and big than gwazi but maybe less crazy that death roll takes some beating for being nutz. But it’s length is fine. Yeah I can only imagine that this is a top 10 contender for most enthusiasts. It throws you out your seat and down the drop. Recency bias ….but it’s really really good

Okay Thorpe Park experienced folks, I told my kids I’d take them there next week to ride this. They want to que up early and run to it once the park opens. What time should I arrive and do they allow kids to literally race from the gates to the rides? Disneyland makes people walk. So thought I’d ask some experienced folks.

I rode 2x today (7hour queue) Absolutely 100% best UK ride by a country mile. I had very high hopes for this ride and it absolutely smashed all expectations out of the window. Everyone go and check it out as Thorpe Park/Mack have absolutely knocked it out of the park. #world class

Sometimes short but sweet is better then longer and dragged out, the Big One at Blackpool for example is a much longer ride but in all honesty after the first couple of drops gets rather boring and loses alot of momentum. Really on in America and occasionally in mainland Europe do you get longer rollercoasters which maintain the intensity throughout the ride.

I'ma be honest I gotta give props to them for making hyperia look so imposing. I'm an american so I semi regularly go on hypers, although I haven't made it on a giga yet, so the height itself isn't crazy, but all of those just kind of look like another coaster y'know. Nowhere near as epic as hyperia.
