Im thinking you are probably into history of bikes as well? Just seeing all the Harleys reminds me that My great aunt was married to Dick Allen for a number of years. He's considered a pioneer of chopper motorcycles, although a lot of people have never heard of him. per an article, "Many of the things that are common now had their beginnings in Mr. Allen's brain - 2-into-1 exhaust/collectors, mag wheels to fit Harleys modified from American Racing Mag car wheels, disk brakes, primary belt drives, narrowing springer forks, extending springers and girders, building what may have been the first complete custom springer forks, and was involved with some of the first "long" bikes. Most of the custom springers that showed up in the late 1960s and early 1970s were Dick Allen designs, though most of the companies simply swiped his designs with no credit/money going to him." As a history guy, and being around bikes my whole life, I just find that to be very cool.
