Dallas has modern interurban streetcars now called light rail. Besides that, it is more expensive and a lot longer to build one like it did for Miami which has the last L train system built 40 fears ago . The first one built was opened with 1 line on 9th Ave to 29th St. in 1868. It was later rebuilt into a 2 track line in 1878. Later on NYC had 4 lines by 1880. The lines were 2nd, 3rd, 6th, 9th Avenue El lines. I am a New Yorker.

Stay safe out there, When you get home from Miami, Can you do 102 Bush IAH Express route from George Bush Intercontinental Airport to Downtown Houston and then do the 30 Clinton/Ella route from Downtown Houston to Acres Homes Transit Center and do the 27 Shepherd route from Texas Medical Center Transit Center to North Shepherd Park and Ride
