@@TheLawnmowerLady Here is a bit of my story: During the spring when COVID first started, I took out my lawn mower to cut the grass for the first time, and the engine wouldn’t start. My lawnmower mechanic was not taking in any business. I had a choice of either doing nothing, or biting the bullet and learning how to do this myself. I found a number of videos on Mustie1 (GREAT channel, by the way) that showed how to clean the Honda carburetor. So, I bit the bullet, took off the carburetor and cleaned it myself. I must admit it took me a longer time than any video I watched, but I was able to do it. And got the lawnmower running. And was bit by the bug of trying to repair small engines….lol

I was told to use a pre-filter over the air filter. And just learned that it's good to oil the pre filter as well. What do you think?
@TheLawnmowerLady5 ай бұрын
I've never oiled a pre-filter, buy honestly have not looked up what the OM says. I see so few with that pre-filter.

Nks for the video. I had a quick question: I have the D110 ask well and it makes a wining noise when I prepare to drive it. Is this normal or should I be concerned?
@TheLawnmowerLady Жыл бұрын
Maybe a bad bearing on a pulley? Check the drive and deck belts as well. Thanks for watching.

You have the tire air pressures wrong. The proper PSI is 14 PSI FRONT TIRES and 10 PSI REAR TIRES! LOL
