I had my KQi3 Max out two days ago for the first time. Was thinking, it's just a scooter. Then I hit the throttle. Nice wake up call. Not the most powerful ride but def something new. Been driving motorbikes and cars for 40 years, but scooters are a whole new area for me.

I love scooters because you stand so much taller that it feels way safer to go at stupid speeds just because you have better depth perception. But that goes out the window if you don’t know the route you’ll be riding, because potholes on scooters are TERRIFYING. It’s also just physically more chill to ride a bike. So I love to scout a route, or go for a chill ride on a bike, and take the scooter out when I wanna rip

I've taken main roads but that's why I normally ride on walking trails. I don't have to think near as much as I do on roads and whenever I ride I just want to enjoy the day and not always go balls to the wall. 60mph standing feels wild and not natural

2:24 It actually makes sense why, since the wheels are smaller, there's way less leverage acting on the motors due to their small diameter putting way less load on them compared to an Ebike, so manufacturers get away with cheaper components and higher power on them, even though electric scooters look so ridiculous, it's like their entire geometry and design is made to be a fast electric vehicle

i am so glad i moved out calli my dad designed buildings for a living up to the 2008 housing crash then retired, i remember going to the beaches all the time but it was like 30 min drive by car from la, did that a lot when growing up so i agree with the state of some of some those beaches is bad. I have seen far crazy roads an freeways so be glad you dont have to drive a more then 2.5 mile in the air freeway section they had added brick walls because people were freezing with fear riding said part freeway then stopping, it was where i moved away from the traffic is the same level there as it is in LA. if anything i wish ev's were a thing when i was growing up. i love where i am in one of the better states regarding ev's laws where i now live. id say that razor type ev looks neat but with the big snow 4 wheel razors look more fun to try out in the snow.

At least there are showers and wash facilities. Here at Elie in Scotland we have a large water sports facility that has no showers or wash facilities. We do have toilets with two wash basins but no showers. And you aren’t allowed to change is said toilets. At least you guys have facilities.

Good question, TailHappyTV used to be totally different content a long time ago. I started Juiced Joyrides as a “passion” project to start making videos on stuff I really love to do, and along the way threw a couple “boring” ebikes on the TailHappyTV channel. It just kinda grew from there and now sometimes I wonder why have two channels as well. Just kinda rolling with it now with laser targeted content for each channel TailHappyTV: legal-ish practical everyday rider kinda e-bikes with pedals Juiced Joyrides: high power joyride stuff We’ll see where it goes 🤙⚡️

I've now had a fat tyre ebike & escooter. i have to say that while at 1st i loved the experience of them both. i soon got tired of the problems that comes with them both. So after 3 years of them both ' I've decided to go back to public transport at i don't have to fix anything when it goes wrong also i don't have to think about watching them when I'm shopping etc. And do i really need to race around in my life & I've noticed that i miss a lot of what's going on around me. I have a nanrobot d4+2.0,nanrobot d6+2.0,& a bluetran lightning 72volt 32ahLG fro. Minimotors.. I like standing up, but I'm almost 50 so I do want one I can sit down on every once in a while, but all the ebikes seem to be very underpowered and over priced compared to what you can get with a kick scooter that just have so much more take off. Power and even speed for half the price. As an e bike

There have been videos on KZbin of people faking it with e-Bikes. The truth is they only go maybe 50 miles max, and then you have to recharge the battery which can take anywhere from 3 to 8 hours. So how long would it take to travel all the way across the country. If you have to stop every 50 miles and wait, four hours to recharge?

Ok so I have watched several of your videos now on electric scooters. I've been looking on Amazon too. I did a review on a Alloweek scooter, pretty cheap but fun. But I would like one that would go in the neighborhood of 40mph or more. I'm 59 and loving the ones I've ridden. I'm also about 215lbs so I do weight them down some. Mostly would be on pavement but a few dirt and rock trails are possible. I can't afford much so those $1500+ scooters are out of the question. Any recommendations?

I have this scooter too the tire change method is a nightmare I think you gotta unplug some wires in the deck wish it had plug and play motor hub wires. It's not as torquay as my teverun supreme though it's like same acceleration as my nami klima I think the sensation. I'm gonna be putting street tires on it makes the ride more silent when going fast and a slight more torque. The tweeks it needs is better charging port caps because they easily pop off and the handle bars a bit wider cause it's feels sketchy going really fast for stability and making turns. And rubber deck easier to clean with demp cloth makes it look clean too."Electricvehiclespace" channel he click baited to people telling about how you can increase the p setting higher then 100 to increase the speed on one of his shorts videos. I asked the manufacturer how to you increase it more then 100 and he said you can't lol. I even asked him and he ignored my question on how to increase higher then 100.

Makes a difference with PMTs than the stock nylon type cheap rubber that comes on most scooters. Quiet, smoother and more grip. Worth the $200

I had this as well and only had to change the flat which was sort of easy.. but I wish the tires were tubeless and self healing.. way to easy to get flats.. anyways mine broke down after 2 weeks and roadrunner wouldn't help and refused to take it back after the 14 days cutoff.
