Hi John I just came across this video. Like many of your other videos it’s sad that the sidewalks are being totally blocked off and nothing done about it. It’s becoming the same way in Fresno California. Being in a power chair it makes it quite difficult and sometimes unsafe. Be safe out there man.

Regarding the junction boxes on the street side. In the city the power lines run underground. If the junctions aren't grounded it can charge the area and electrocute anyone in the area. Hope that helps.

That wire is probably a ground wire that the utility installed. They do that when the buried wire is going bad - probably for the street lights on that road.

Have you ever ridden over by the Staples Center? Was driving near there and saw a ton of graffiti and art on buildings off the freeway. I think kinda south from there, if I'm remembering correctly. Not sure the exact streets but it looked like a lot of cool art on industrial buildings. Could be a good spot to ride around.

To speak on the Power Theft; in order to bypass the Utility Company and their meter, people will tap directly into the main line. They will also tap street lights, poles, and others electrical lines. Anything from an extension cord, jumper cables, or straight copper wire that is thick enough to handle the wattage is used. The utility company will eventually catch it and back charge for everything used. Keep riding and stay safe out there! 🫡

1000 miles is nothing IMO. A better indicator than miles is how often you have charged the battery. 1000 full charges is when you can say it's really used and has lost some range. 2000 full charges is pushing it. Motorwise I have not clue how long these last. The rest is just a normal bicycle so gotta replace chains and cogwheels etc.

There is a way to tell if it’s a hellcat or a chally by sight and it has to do with the radiator a.k.a. the grill in either…dead giveaway that its a hellcat(charger) and not a challenger is that the challenger has a weird cross shaped intersection on the grill and the charger(hellcat) has the same hex pattern grill but not cross shaped thing in the middle of the actual grill section.
