One tip I have is to not rely on walls/fences too much because they don't help that much. Rather, save your time by just trying to skate one footed because practice makes progress :)

I'm also goofy, and removing one foot actually does work. But so far I can only do one footer with my left leg. Right leg (front leg) one footer is really not coming to the party...but I can still do throwbacks since i dont have to stand for a long time on the right leg.

im pretty sure whichever is your dominant / stronger leg is easier to ride on . For me it's the left / front foot, for you it's also left but thats your back foot.

@@anchovies11 yes, only dominant when it comes to balancing but when playing soccer or need to kick something, I use my right foot. But I'm glad my left leg is dominant for balancing when skating coz I can do the turnaround

How do you gain speed while on one leg

It's the same motion as pumping, just without the other leg. If you know how to pump then you have the motion down - You'll just need to get used to balancing on one foot first 👍
