I just started bike commuting to work. It's my first time biking regularly since I was a kid, which I did haphazardly and without rules, so I wasn't sure how to navigate my bike in traffic as an adult. This is exactly what I needed! Thank you.

How’d your bike commute go? I’m considering doing the same soon.

Very nice presentation. It is very simple yet thorough. I hope it goes through periodic updating. The box turn is missing. Turning left, a cyclist will keep to the right lane and cross the intersection, then wait on that corner for the light to change, then turn left, using the right lane of the cross street. This method means a cyclist won't become a pinball in the middle of the intersection and get struck by more than one car.

To continue a thorough discussion of intersections would mean including different kinds of intersections and discussing these designs without bike lanes and with them. There are at least 5 different kinds of protected intersection.
