Riding Our New Favorite MTB Trails! - Roadtrip to Bellingham and Shredding Boise with Kyle and April

We took a big road trip to the Northwest Tune Up Festival in Bellingham Washington, met up with Kyle and April in Boise Idaho at Bogus Mountain Bike Park, and also stopped by the Diamondback Bikes office! Milo and Owen had a blast, this was their first time in Washington State, and Megan loved getting back to the Northwest.

What a funny thing about being a parent. You love to see your kids do exciting things, but you're also worried the whole time they're doing them. It's very hard for me to suppress that urge to tell them to not do something that's risky. I usually tell them to make sure they're riding within their ability, or at least take it easy on the first few runs until they warm up or get used to the bike. It is the ever present balance of letting kids explore their boundaries but also keeping them safe. Nice to see you go through it too!

Yes, you get it!! It's so cool and so much fun, but you also never want to see them get hurt!! I am constantly telling them to slow down or look at things haha, most of the time that gets edited out though cause no one wants to hear it all the time! They do a good job though, and I trust them more as they get older, knowing their abilities.

Next time your up in the northwest, go up to Whitefish Mountain resort. Sick place and awesome trails, but iff you go go after the first week of july so the whole mountain is open. als Glacier NAtional Park is near

Sick wish I was there to see you guys. That sad part about bogus is they have water holding ponds but there to stingy to water the trail for 1 minute in the morning but they will gladly make a fake snow run through the rocks and pretend it's cool. Worst place to ski in Idaho.
