I had a 1992 F250 with the naturally aspirated 7.3l, although I added a turbo to it. Most reliable vehicle I have ever owned. Never failed to start on the coldest mornings as long as I replaced any bad glow plugs in the fall and replaced the heated fuel filter yearly. Great to see a 7.3 doing its job after all these years and inspiring the kind of confidence it takes to make a 2000 mile journey during the darkest coldest time of year.

Why family were loggers in Newfoundland, Canada where conditions were always rough and sometimes Arctic like conditions. Over the years we tried, GM and Dodge, but Ford always prevailed hands down. No comparison. There is no small reason why in Canada for over 60 years straight, Ford pickups were the number one selling of all vehicles in Canada, cars included.

@@robertlevy105 yes, they sold turbo kits for them. One was from Banks and the one I put on was from a company called Hypermax. It was non intercooled but the difference in power was night and day. It was supposed to add around 80 hp which was a lot back then.

All the cozy comforts with a blizzard riht outside! Outstanding. I love the cutaway shots of the outside of the truck and structure mixed in!

Thanks for the awesome video. It reminds me why I moved from the frigid northern winters to SW Florida, where Im now retired. Your camper setup is genius and well done. Good luck and stay safe in your adventures. ! BTW, that gumbo looked friggin delicious. Now Im hungry 😊

Seems so cozy when you’re in a 60 mph blizzard. In your little warm home.

Man that snow blew my mind. I’m used to Michigan winters up north, and that made my snow look pitiful in comparison. Stay warm out there! Happy New Year! 🎈🎆🎊

Love you content Timmy. There are so many people who don't ever get to do what you do. You are blessed bro so keep it up and stay safe always.

Holy cow this was a good video. When I take my cabin boat out I always take extra every thing , and that is in the summer. Stay safe and warm ……. 😊

It doesn’t cost much to enjoy nature, isn’t it. You definitely play it in style that I admire so much.

This episode, riding out a snow storm with high winds and eating gumbo is definitely one of my top five favorites. Cheers!

You should run a couple of lines off of the heater hoses to a small core in your cabin: Take advantage of the free engine heat while you're driving, so your cabin can be pre-warmed when you move into it.

Very Kool setup with your truck! Man, I sure do miss Alaska!! I did everything I could do at -50° but I learned a lot about myself and what was possible and what was not!!

Dude, word up. Time is the only currency. It's pretty amazing that in our limited free time there are quite a few of us that find you puttering about the truck house in a snowstorm a soothing escape from the pressures of modernism. You're spending your time wisely.

This so reminds me of Maria and Blue in Roaming Reckless when they camped in an Alaskan blizzard. Thank you Tim for sharing your experience 😊

That was badass! Talk about a one man wrecking crew with that set up. Completely self reliant.
