Very nice. I'm a rail enthusiast and I really enjoy Amtrak, even though it's a slow way to travel. But I think 40 hours would be too long for me. I have yet to experience any Amtrak travel outside the east coast. Happy you're back to making videos

Yoooooo !!! Always great to see comments from you, of course :) Nice!! What Amtrak rides have you done before??? It was a really cool experience. I've heard the Denver to San Francisco stretch is actually really quite incredible. I am ALSO happy I'm back to videos and streaming on twitch. It feels really good to be creative. Thanks for making time to watch the vid and comment even tho ur crazy busy :D I super super appreciate it, as always :)

@@FunkadelicPeach Only the Vermonter to northern Vermont (beautiful but very slow) and the northeast corridor (Washington DC to Boston). For a year the Vermonter was replaced by a bus north of Springfield, MA and that wasn't as fun of a journey. I hope to be able to watch your streams again too

While pricier than coach tickets, a roomette is so much nicer. You get an actual bed to sleep in, 4 free meals a day, which you canhave in either the dining car or your room, plus you also have access to the showers. You should definitely do another amtrak trip and stay in one 😎
@FunkadelicPeach3 ай бұрын
@@Schnauzerhaus2 I would definitely love to! In my case, a roomette cost about 7 times more than my coach seat, so I decided it was not worth it. I was still plenty comfy, all things considered!
@Jetski_Journals3 ай бұрын
So, my question is should I pony up and pay the $1,200 to travel in a roomette, or the $200 to travel by couch? (I plan to travel from Cincy to LA, then fly back) I’m just not sure if the sleeping arrangements are comfortable.
@FunkadelicPeach3 ай бұрын
Honestly, I was totally fine in my seat! I was glad to save the money. I am 6 foot and 155lbs. I had enough room to fully stretch out and also sleep through the night. Even with someone sitting next to me (I just turned my head into the window each time haha). Have fun!

It seems you missed something! -- unlike on a plane, you DO NOT have to sit in the same space all the time! You can walk around; I spend most of my time in the observation car -- nice comfy "couches" and views, some booths to spread out your work or etc., (with outlets) and there are booths downstairs in the cafe/bar area too, often quiet and unoccupied. And remember, train stations are downtown, no getting to a remote airport...no long lines, baggage search, xrays, metal detectors, or luggage weight limits. PS -- trains are very seldom delayed due to weather, as planes often are!
