Riding the 2021 YZ250F ONE YEAR AFTER IT BLEW UP! (MX101)

I finally got the opportunity to ride the 2021 yamaha yz250f after the engine rebuild! So thrilled to be back on the bike and riding. It feels like its been ages, but we finally got back to the motocross track. Mx101 in Epping, NH is our track for today!

How’s it been running? Just rebuilt my yz450 and ngl the oil keeps turning black after like 1 ride. Don’t really know why but it runs and feels great tho.

Seems to be running good. Same thing as you said tho 1 ride and the oil in the sight glass is black. I remember u saying you rebuilt yours in another comment. Its really so tough to tell if it likes the way its being run or not. The sounds to look for are so subtle i wouldnt even notice a difference

@@codeybean yeah, I’m thinking it’s just a break in period. I’ve ridden it like 5 times since. The oil doesn’t seem to be as black after the rides anymore. Turns out my fuel injector was clogged, solved the issue. Bad gas messed it up. Thing runs well now! If u ever ride at southwick mx area feel free to hmu, pretty close to there.

@@NickRomanoMX thats good, ill have to see if my oil follows the same trend. Good catch on the fuel injector. I have always wanted to ride southwick but have never done it. When i get out now its usually wareham mx, mx101, or 508 international. Havent been to crow hill, mx23 or southwick but would like to at some point
