Riding the Amtrak Northeast Regional Train from Boston to New York City

Join us for a ride on the Amtrak Northeast Regional from Boston to NYC. This is the most comfortable and civilized way to travel with wide seats (Amtrak Coach are bigger than airline Business Class!) a well stocked Cafe Car and a smooth, steady ride. My favorite way to get to NYC, rarely delays, never a cancelled flight, no lost luggage. And it's not that much longer. 1st Class Acela from South Station to Manhattan is a great trip.

My favorite way to travel is in coach on the Regional, passengers are not stuck up and snobby as they are on the Acela Express and it’s a lot cheaper and runs more frequently

One of the most underappreciated aspects of traveling Amtrak is seeing all of the things you would be flying over. It isn't the most pretty, but it is America! It takes rail yards and oil terminals to bring this to you. And, yes, the seats are fantastic! Love the NEC!

Never been on these trains. Im going from New York to Boston. Says im in business seat 1A. What should i change my seat to to get the best view going to Boston?

I think that's on the left side of the train, if you could get a seat on the right side you'll have ocean views which I tend to prefer
