Take a lap around the Big One with Scott and Mark in our rider cam video filmed in 4K, we were the only riders on the Big One and it was running absolutely fantastically! The Big One is the UK's tallest roller coaster and has been open at Blackpool Pleasure Beach since May 1994.

Tbh going up to the top is the only scary part. Had to close my eyes the first time. The second you crest the top of the hill it's absolutely fine, if anything it's a bit unimpressive beyond the general height and sense of speed on the first hill.

We took our Dad who passed away in 2018 on the Grand National & Big One last weekend, he said that when he died he wanted to be chucked off the North Pier after the Pleasure Beach...Mum & Dad loved Blackpool and the rides so we gave him a good leaving present..and he went off the North Pier too...RIP Dad...:)

I went to pleasure beach yesterday and one of the main reasons I went was for The Big One. At first it was closed due to high winds so I went on ALL the thrill rides and then it opened. I queued for literally over an hour but it was so worth it😍 and I rode Icon three times! 😂❤️

Sincerely Insincere The turnaround is ace and also going over “star hill” just before the MCBR. The mid course was relevant for when it ran on three, i don’t think it ruins the momentum too much.

EVERYONE GO ON THIS RIDE!!! its great for young kiddies and adults too! best first drop and then the rest is just fun, i loved it and it was the first roller coaster i had even been on (go big or go home) 🤣 this was me before it -😩 and this was me after it-🤩 i would go on again and again it does not go upside down and it runs perfectly even on slightly windy days I definitely recommend this ride even though people were laughing at me because i was screaming the whole way through because it was it was sooo fun not because i was terrified..😂 please please please go on this ride if you get the opportunity i wad sitting by myself i was too busy enjoying the view to pay attention to the carts the best bit is the first drops because it is very fast and fun BRILLIANT! The only bad part was before it because i was scared but it turns out im not scared of heights the panicking was worth it 🤣x

Definitely wouldn't say it's a good ride for kids with a height restriction of 130cm (give or take a few cms), great coaster though.
