That looks like an awesome adventure! Thanks for sharing your video. (I agree, that dock was sketchy! I would hate to have to figure out how to tie down to that thing without damaging my machine.). 😁 👍

I was glad I had good fenders. That's all I can say! 🤣

@@TheShipsLogg - That is something I am looking for now for my Fish Pro Trophy. Seems to be a lot of designs out there to choose from these days...

@@haroldrushton6735 I purchased the flat fenders that my dealer offered. They have hooks on the bottom to hook onto the moulding of the ski but they didn't work well with the straps that came with them. I removed the straps and put bungee cords on instead. Works like a charm

Is that navigation factory or aftermarket?

That is a Garmin unit that I installed myself. I did a video of the project a couple of years ago if you want to see how I did it.

I used to comment on your excellent t videos from Washington state. I now live in Georgia and looking to purchase jet ski. Do I remember correctly that you live in Georgia? If so would love to meet up some day, and again if you live in Georgia are there jet ski groups I can contact? Thanks much
@TheShipsLogg9 ай бұрын
Welcome to Georgia!! You are correct. That is my home state. I am in the Atlanta area and I ride a lot on Lake Lanier. There are a few jet ski groups around here. It's pretty easy to find them on Facebook if you are online. Jet Rider Nation and Lake Lanier Jet Ski Group are just a couple. The season is fast approaching so get that ski soon!! 😁

@@TheShipsLogg thank you sir for your reply. I live south of Atlanta by about an hour or so. Would love to meet up with you and others for a lake Lanier ride. Not sure I’d be comfortable for my first ride there solo. Plus you are amazing on how you present information . I’m still thinking about the deep V hull of a Kawasaki that might go through the chop well thus being a little easier on my back :-)

@@CrochetNewsNetwork A Kawi is definitely a good option for rough water. As the weather gets warmer, I will definitely be out there more and more. There is a group that rides every Sunday morning on Lake Lanier and I sometimes ride with them. They call it Wake Church. You can find them on FB. Look for Lake Lanier Jet Ski Group.

@@TheShipsLogg thank you sir for your reply. Is the water a little choppy on Lanier? If memory serves me you ride a Yamaha top of the line cruiser??? If you had the option starting over what would you choose between what you have and the Kawasaki deep hull ??? I mean there are good things about Yamaha , Sea Doo and Kawasaki . I’m a little older so I’m looking for more comfort than doing tricks or jumping much :-)
@TheShipsLogg9 ай бұрын
@@CrochetNewsNetwork Lanier can get choppy on a busy day during the summer. I actually just bought another Yamaha. Same model as the one I had, just newer. The switch back to SMC hulls also makes for a smoother ride.
