Riding the Incredibly Treacherous and Unique Rock Features of Gooseberry Mesa

The Singletrack Sampler

4 жыл бұрын

I’ve had people telling me for ages that I need to go ride the famous Gooseberry Mesa, yet I continually passed right by it thinking it probably was just more of the same after Moab or Sedona…. but man! I could not have been more wrong!
Now that I’ve experienced it for myself, I can say for certain that the singletrack in and around Gooseberry Mesa is truly unlike any I’ve ever ridden, and I’ve been absolutely dying to share the stoke of this place with you all ever since! So in today’s video, we’re going to take a look at what it was like to ride here, explore what makes it so unique, and eye up some of the most treacherous and challenging features we came across along the way.
🙌MASSIVE thanks to MY PATRONS that make this all possible 🙌

Gooseberry looks sick, but I don't know if I could trust myself with all those cliffs!
@k2rider1964
@k2rider1964 4 жыл бұрын
On the designated trails, you are several feet from the edge and you'd have to purposely make a sharp left (or right) to go over the edge. Most of the techy features in this video are either optional or "off the grid". The average visitor would never see or find them.
@k2rider1964
@k2rider1964 4 жыл бұрын
Nobody said that wasn't the case but 99% of riders out there go from dot to dot to dot without ever seeing the optional lines. As many times as I've ridden there, if I go out with the crew from "Over the Edge", they show me lines I never even envisioned.
