I did it, I rode the LONGEST mountain coaster in America. While heading down to Tennessee, Lili said she wants to do something fun & exciting. So while browsing the web, I came upon a site for the coaster of all Mountain coasters. The Smoky Mountain Alpine coaster, which is located in Pigeon Forge boasts the record for being the Longest coaster in America. So we knew we had to ride it. Good for you confronting your fear! 👏🏽👏🏽 Not a lot of people would do that. I've heard that's the definition of courage - being afraid and doing it anyway. I'm not much for roller coasters, either. It always amazes me how, even if we recognize there is nothing to be afraid of, that primal feeling arises. It would be a great thing if we could set aside fear and enjoy these things.

I'm not crazy about coasters but I'd like to try that one. Like you do, work through frears. I jumped out of a plane 3 times. I rode every ride at Six flags. With mountain coasters you're in a lttle cart, you can't see the edge to the left/right. You have to ride it. Everyone who rides is terrified. I was slightly.. I can sleep on six flags rides. No addrenaline. It looks easy but it is a little scary.

I think you were very brave to try that ride !! I'm still waiting for the ads to run. I'm glad you weren't with me when I was a security guard when they were working on the coaster before opening season. Three times I watched the coaster go right off the rails right at the top at Great Adventure in Jackson,N.J. They DID get it fixed though. Many years ago at the wooden coaster there a guy stood up while on the ride, a head meeting a huge wooden beam wins every time. Enough said. Ads are over, video time.

Bruh I went zip lining at the Riviera Maya in Mexico. Each zip line went higher up as you kept going. My favorite one was the Superman zip line, which is where you’re fastened in from your chest and feet, and you slide down on your stomach. I wonder if the guy in the video would be down for that...?

Come on, man. That's not anything close to "Oh, God!" The whole point of riding coasters is the adrenaline and the experience of g force. If the thing is designed not to fly off the tracks on the turns, then I really don't see why it has brakes.

I was brought up on roller coasters from the time I was tall enough. Six flags in Georgia visiting my Aunt and uncle was my first experience. I’m 63 now and can’t get enough of the thrill. Don’t know when the time comes when you get too old. We just renewed our year round pass at Busch Gardens.

Frank, I grew up about 30 minutes away from Six Flags over Georgia. In fact, my first job was working there. It's truly a fun place to visit. I haven't been in a very long time but they have new coasters to ride and I'm definitely a coasters person. 🙂
