An eagerly awaited second day to a four day tour of Scotland, whilst staying at Tyndrum. In this video we travel from Tyndrum to Oban enjoying the twisty roads on route and finally explore the fishing town and soak up the hospitality Oban has to offer.
This episode illustrates the route travelling north from Tyndrum via the A82 towards Oban on the A85. From Oban we take the A828 towards Glencoe village before stopping for lunch at the Clachaig Inn in the mountains of Glencoe. After a light lunch and some photos we continue back to our accommodation at Tyndrum Lodges before having our evening meal at Tyndrum Inn
Enjoy breathtaking views of Oban, Glencoe & the intimidating mountains as we travel from Glencoe to Tyndrum.
All video captured on GoPro Hero 9's & edited in FCPX.

Your videos are amazing and truly a joy to watch! As far as the gusty winds are concerned, my thought would be to drive reasonably fast to get help from the gyroscopic stabilization from the spinning wheels. Enjoy your riding and stay safe!

@@701Adventures No, probobly 10 years since i had to remember what pump number. New thing now is to register licensplate and connect with debit card, then cameras read your plate when you get to the pump. Just get out , fill up, drive away. Cost goes on your card.

@@701Adventures It´s available at Circle K stations in Sweden, maybe in other contrys aswell, i don´t know. People not paying was a big problem, to easy to just get back out on the highway. Also most people already pay by card so easyer to just pay at the pump.

This is the first video of yours I've watched so I'll have a look to see what else you've posted as I like the way you link the footage to where you are. The only yellow square of annoyance I've had was on my 2nd GS with the SOS system throwing a wobbler every time I lost the mobile signal, which happened a lot in Wales normally just when I didn't want the distraction. Safe to say I don't have it on my 1250. As they say "It depends" but I normally drop my speed when it's windy especially if there's other teaffic around as if I do get caught by a gust if I'm going too fast the consequences of the momentum working against me and throwing me further off course possibly into oncoming traffic or the hedge is higher if that makes sense.

Hi, many thanks for watching the video and for subscribing to the channel. I've had three GSA's in the past, none of which had the SOS button thank goodness as I've heard of a few GS owners who have had false activations and that would get on my nerves! 😁 I'm only a beginner in the motorcycle vlogging world but I enjoy creating the videos for my own benefit and if others enjoy them too then of course that is always a bonus. 👍👍

if you disable traction control and and abs together you ll get this every time you start the bike , just clear it and you good to go ... mine did it the 1st time i disable them ,, i ve repeated the process to confirm that s what it was

Hi, much appreciated thanks. I haven't had the message since and when I did get it I hadn't switched off the TC & ABS so I'm still lost as to what caused it on that occasion. One of life's little mysteries stirred up by a potion of BMW. 😁

Great video, and spookily enough my 1200 GSA had the exact same message show up while I was on my recent Scotland trip. Restarted the bike, and all has been well since. I wondered if I had started the engine before the bike had gone through it’s electronics initiation? 🤷🏼‍♂️
@701Adventures
@701Adventures 3 жыл бұрын
That is spooky! I'd never experienced the message prior to this incident and it's not repeated itself. Had you experienced a lot of wet weather prior to it coming in, I was told that could have caused it but in reality it's anyones guess what caused it.

@@701Adventures no, we'd had dry weather virtually the whole trip including the journey up, and the only rain on just one day was light... 🤷 My friend on his 2017 GSA had more of a problem with his bike going into 'limp home' mode once a day for the second week of our trip! Will probably turn out to be a faulty sensor.....

Again as pulling up in garage and 4:55 as you join the road you remember from a previous trip. Could be camera Mic picking up the noise only. Brake dragging sounds like to me - not an engine noise.
