Riding the Train to Downtown LA || Exploring Los Angeles || Episode Seven

For a lot of people the first thing that comes to mind when they think of Los Angeles is all the bad traffic. While this is true, the traffic is awful, there are other ways to get to and around the city.
The city of Los Angeles has buses, subways, light-rails, and longer distance trains that come in from neighboring cities. In this video we take the Metrolink train from Orange County to Downtown Los Angeles for a fun filled day of old buildings and food.
I've always had a fascination with cities and public transportation. So I was very excited for this video. Aside from the train ride we also visit a few DTLA landmarks: Union Station, Grand Central Market, and Angels Flight Railway. You aren't limited to these sights though! Union Station is a great jumping off point to see many DTLA attractions or to catch another train or bus to a different area!
I've decided to make a series about all things Los Angeles. Why? Because I LOVE Los Angeles. Although I wasn't born and raised here, I want to share all of the amazing things this city has to offer. With that being said, welcome to Episode Seven!

Good trip to downtown! I used to work in Brea, & took the Metrolink from Burbank to Union Station & the Amtrak to Fullerton. I recently took the Amtrak from Union Station to San Diego. I never get tired of the trains - they're a great way to see different parts of CA! Good video!

If you don't feel like walking you can take the red line to Grand Central Market

I think if you buy an antrack ticket it works like a pass on metrolink and dash buses.

I paid the extra because I prefer the train and you can have a snack or a drink and it's just more comfortable however Fullerton to downtown is 30 minutes and is more economical, so it makes since.
