Fun fact Marc! The colossus roller coaster opened 1 year before I was born which was in 84 and that ride opened in 83! How awesome is that?❤❤❤❤❤

I was born in ‘84 too! I became obsessed with Lagoon at a very young age where I’d count down the days before my family was going. Who knew at 40 I’d still be obsessed with amusement parks and rollercoasters

Jet Star is a Faint memory from when I was a little kid. It was part of Expo 74 and I was 5 or so way to young to ride but very fascinated by it. Learned it was at lagoon a year or 2 ago now it is a bucket list credit for me.

Why primordial opens late is because it has a very high tendency to valley at the beginning when in those temperatures. It even valleyed during testing of the ride with people on it.

Wow I have never actually seen a vlog from Lagoon.. only ever heard of Cannibal. But it seemed to have much more to offer than I expected and quite a nice coaster colection too. A real destination for enthusiasts. Eventhough they charge Disney prices^^

As someone born and raised in utah and have been going to lagoon since i was a kid.....the reason the price is so expensive compared to disney is simple. Disney has multiple parks around the world. Not only that but they are DISNEY!! Much more money even outside of amusement parks. They have many more billions than lagoon. Same with six flags...they have something like 50+ parks throughout north America. So they can afford to be cheaper. Where as lagoon is a single family owned park. Lagoon also allows you to bring in a cooler full of your own food/drinks. Which as far as im aware not many parks in the world allow that. You can also bring tents or other things and set them up for the day in the grassy areas...as well as dogs as the video showed. And they have a pretty fun water park. With that being said....as a utah native, the price still bugs me. But when I put it into perspective, I get it. Also for the locals we can just get season passes for $200 and go as many times as we want, which makes it very much worth it.

I find it kinda funny that winjas fear and force in phantasialand (Warning, spoilers ahead if you dont wanna get spoiled.) Have a seasaw and a sideways seasaw thing(people say that fear and force have different elements, i was on fear it had both elements) and even a vertical bounce track while moving. No other coaster had that so far and they were built in 2002. Only primordial got some similar elements and was openend 2023/4 (idk when it openend). But then again it took many years to built.

Me and my family go to Lagoon every year. It’s so much fun. I haven’t ridden Primordial yet, though. My favorite ride at the park is Cannibal. I also love Wicked, Colossus: Fire Dragon, Cliffhanger, Rattlesnake Rapids, the wooden roller coaster, The Spider, and others I can’t think of right off the bat. Lol!

Fun fact: Lagoon got its name from being located on the shores of the Great Salt Lake when it originally opened

It’s called lagoon due to the lagoon it’s built currently around, it had a different name when it was built on the shore of the great salt lske

It was called Lake Park when it was located on the shores of the Great Salt Lake. When the lake receded, it was moved inland and built around a lagoon... so they changed the name to Lagoon Park.

Well done ART Engineering, clearly they are excellent at creating rides for every age group and thrill level👏🏻 That’s interesting about the design and physiological response of Schwarzkopf loopers, never knew that, but makes sense. TerrorRide wasn’t quite as good as Hotel Psycho, but as expected I died again🤣😂🤣😂

I still think rollercoaster is more enjoyable than any b&m hyper I’ve been on. Btw being there on the last day of the season definitely didn’t help the atmosphere. Go early September if you also want Frightmares stuff it’s the best time to be there. Usually there’s a great amount of music in the park and if you ever bring your own container you can fill it up with water for free.

I notice you don't have any halloween event vlogs (at least recently) so it might not interest you, but a few of the mazes for Lagoon's Frightmares event are pretty damn good and there's an upcharge show that is incredible. It is a shame the price of the park is as high as it is, but I think the park has a great atmosphere when it's busy, especially at night. Also props for bumping Bombora, tiny family coaster that has no right being as good as it is!

You guys came on the latest day of the year lagoon has ever been open. Yes the park has gotten stupid expensive but what isn't now days? They're independent and build super expensive rides. Primordial is rumored at 70 million. Also most people in Utah buy season passes which are much more reasonable. Tell father that normally the park is busy, with music and a really fun atmosphere. Loved your video. Also primordial is 1000 percent better than wonder mountain.

I’m not sure about coffee, but they have a Biergarten and you can bring whatever the hell you want to into the park, including alcohol

They need to just shut Primordial down and renovate the electrical components if it's having that many issues. Guests cannot be waiting that long for a freaking dark ride. That's just totally unacceptable park operations in my view.

they shouldn't have charged you for Water, I've been to the park numerous times and have never been charged for water, as a matter of fact while in Utah a business can charge for filtered water, they can't charge for tap water. As for the atmosphere, they normally have music playing, I don't know why they didn't.

The admission price is insulting..... considering the fact that I'm in Nevada and I could just go to magic mountain in Valencia and get a real bang for my buck....🤌🤟🙌
