You can adjust the bitepoint, you need a small allen key, also they're meant to be ridden with a 2.3 rotor, Should shorten the lever throw by quite a bit.

How was the Bomber 58 aside from the damper noise? I’m considering replacing my 2006 DOT with one. There aren’t really any reviews aside from the articles from release a few years back and videos of people putting them on their sur ron e bikes. But any info on how it feels and handles and reliability would be amazing!

Not a fan of the lewis brakes at all. They could have easily came up with their own design but intentionally made all their brakes look like Trickstuffs. If you are looking at trying new brakes I'd recommend the new Hope Tech 4 V4's, I've got two sets and they have been fantastic. A German bike mag just did a brake group test with dyno torque measurements and the Hope's where the strongest, with the Trickstuff Maxima's coming in second and the Sram Mavern's in third.

Some old guy pulled the same on my daughter and i. She's only 7 and got very upset because he jumped infront of her going fast downhill. Even if it's a shared trail there's no reason to jump in front of people screaming

She was standing at the foot of what was very clearly a blind jump on what is very clearly a fast downhill bike trail. If it was a narrow single track with clearly visibility I'd be upset but there's no way anyone with common sense would be climbing that trail and thinking "yeah, this is safe."
@CouchtotheSummit5 ай бұрын
@@theshonen8899 if there are no signs and its the person's first time up the trail and they're coming to the big jump for the first time, how are they to really know? it could simply be a case of bad timing just as the hiker was just realising what was happening. The fact this high speed trail has no signage at the bottom is clearly a fault on the trail builders/NSMBA/WV council and not the hiker in question (regardless of her emotional reaction or not)

It’s unfortunate that hikers and bikers can’t get along. The trails built and maintained by our local mountain bike organization get used as mountain bike, hike, snowshoe, cross country ski, etc and no one says a word about it. But as soon as we want to use a trail built for hikers by the hiking organizations it’s a problem. Frustrating but that’s the way it goes. Better signage is a good start to fixing all these issues!

you got a good view of Trail karen's face, certainly enough to ID her with facial recognition. I would bet money she's doing trail sabotage in that area when people aren't around. It would be a shame if someone IDd her and turned it over to the police /sarcasm. It would also be a terrible shame if someone were to infiltrate the FB groups these trail karens organize through and get incriminating evidence of trail sabotage /sarcasm.
