Hey Dave, I'm not sure if it's just me, but I can not pick out most of the tricks very easily. You know I'm a daily watcher, and I feel a bit dense at times, but could you do a video and put a small text in the bottom calling the trick? It would help my old ass a ton :)

Both of your formats are awesome!! I feel like, your normal format works better for youtube but, I like this one better for Wakeboarding. It showcases the riding better. Just seeing you guys ride like that, I am on the edge of my seat just chomping to ride!!! Totally stoked seeing that!!! Your set was awesome too!!! I feel like with the normal format.... I don’t always see you challenging your riding very much but, this time was totally inspiring!! Love your channel David!

Do a game of wake with the Italian guy, or maybe do a head to head contest, where you go out and simulate a contest run. On my college wake team we would do that to determine who rides in which division.

Its a deep water start, Lucas. It's harder for a beginner to do a deep water start, but the benefit, IMO is that you float more so you pop right out of the water, and also the overall position is more comfortable, than having your knees bent and elbows tucked as in a standard start.

how I learnt was that after a fall or at the beginning of a set, I just worked on floating with my board in the water (think you are a large fishing bobber). I also keep my knees bent at probably 60 degrees under water, cuz it helps with balance. But once you get comfortable in that position, the start is pretty simple. Once you’re commfy with board buyoncy in the water, you will be totally comfortable starting virtually anyway, - with the board all the way submerged, being able to stand on top of the board on top of the water just before the boat starts, backwards, Fakie, however you want. There is a valid reason to be able to do this IMO and, it’s not too look cool or feel cool starting out although, that’s a benefit..... the real reason to get to this place is to do with falling, both if there is injury as well as a component of trying ever harder tricks...... if you’re super comfy with buyoncy controls in the water, somehow you’re not as afraid to fall and, if you do get seriously injured, your in an advantage as you will likely still be able to control the board if you’re in some kind of precarious position.
