Riding With Tight Crowds And Many Cops

I always dread being stopped and being told I can't ride mine... already have my question ready.. what is it that I'm riding? Can't tell me I can't ride it if you don't know what it is! Great video and hope that all of us riders have positive responses like you did!

When I see a cop I make myself more mellow than I already am and just be friendly. Don’t ride erratically on the road and stay far enough away from pedestrians. I yield always to them too. Although I am always courteous to pedestrians on the road anyway, I put extra cheese on my manners when cops are nearby.

Coming off my encounter with the police yesterday I'm wondering if you are a brother from another mother, You handled that brilliantly. There is no reason to be an adversary. Be nice and friendly to the police and they'll be nice to you. Simple as that. Great job Adam!

Sorry for the late reply. This message is on KZbin studio but not on my KZbin app. Hope to see you in Johnson Park. I have been kicked out of there a couple times but I will still ride when I can. The Park Rangers there are so strict unlike other parks where they just wave to me. Enjoy your rides.

Ha ha! I am a considerate, careful and relatively slow rider. The cops here in NJ are cool. Not once in 6 years of riding have I ever been harassed by cops. Nothing but praise from them. The last cop’s facial expression at 6:15 says it all. 😊
