Yep, you read that right, my horse morning routine in 2020 morning horse routine starts at 5am! I work full-time in central London so on the days where I share Ted, I have to wake up at 5am to fit everything in. Here's how my morning routine works and my time-saving tips for being productive, even at 5am!

My Winter Horse Morning Routine:
0:08 - 5am | Wake up!
0:20 - 6am | Feed the horses
0:48 - 6:05am | Muck out Ted's stable
1:08 - 6:20am | Groom and tack up
2:19 - 7am | Ride
3:31 - 8am | Untack and turn out
4:18 - 8:15am | Make feeds and tidy up
4:22 - 8:30am | Leave yard for work
4:40 - 10am | Ready for work (post shower + change!)

No I get up later in the winter ab 5 I manly get up then feed so I can ride a 6

I get up at 5:45 and get to the yard for 7. I have to catch 2 buses in the morning and take me about an hour to get there xD

I am an early riser too! I am that friend that is standing outside their house 10 minutes early in the freezing cold rain just so I know I won't be late! I try and stay off my phone as much as I can in the morning to stop me getting so distracted!

So nice to see someone else who spends half their life on public transport! 🤣 In normal times I’m an hour on the bus to work in the mornings and an hour and a half after to get back up to the farm (then to and from the farm and home is a 30 min journey, so 3 hours travelling a day!)

Awesome video! I've been looking at leases and how I could possibly start to work a routine with riding into my normal school routine, so very insightful! My morning tips on early starts include making my breakfast and lunch the night before. For me personally this takes the most amount of time in my morning so having it already done is a huge time saver! But obviously everyone is different and that may not help some people :D Keep up the good work!

Love how informative this video is in regards to horse care. What colour is Ted? As he seems to be a grey, but has a palomino coloured face and a patch on his neck.
