This was an absolute grand master. Alien and Blade Runner have the highest volume of beautifully composed and coherent shots, edited together so strongly towards a perfectly realised vision. It's incredible to watch these two films today. Nothing like them exists, at their level of quality.

Exactly!! The beauty of anamorphic lenses massively added to the breathtaking aesthetic. Something that just cannot be faked with cropped Super35 shots.

hahaha angry? :P Well maybe he couldn't be bothered with questions and perhaps he wasn't even that prepared for the interview and hadn't seen his film. His brother Tony also seemed a bit like that in interviews. If you watch the other parts you can see Ridley warming up a little more towards the end. :) And by the way, thanks for stopping by
