Pity the interviewer was so full of historical clichés, I think we would have gained a deeper insight into her motivation & her film-making skills if she hadn't felt the need to defend herself all the time. In fact, it was released many years after WWII and so has let a lot of people saying and writing they even didnt' participate, were so "pupies" like "it was not me", "I knew nothing" and so all. But many entries in the diary shows it was not the case. Especially the first part of the diary which has been written directly by Goebbels, and which is "less political correct" than the second part!
