I love this, can I just give a little suggestion? In the intro where you sing the chorus in the beginning I believe it could sound good if you sing the IT FELT SO STRONG IT FELT SO RIGHT part with a head voice so the song has more of a build up to it or you could even sing that an octave lower. It's just my personal opinion since I'm personally a huge fan of songs that slowly build up. But this is such an amazing cover and the lyrics are so good and you have an amazing voice ❤

As a queer not-quite-girl (nonbinary person who people usually think is a girl) who likes girls, I like this song, and I love your version even more! I especially like the change each chorus from "I liked it" (past tense, implying a one-time thing) to "I like it" (I've realised this is what I like, this is who I am). I know the change from one-time-thing to realisation is the point of all the new lyrics, but I especially like that one. Having both "liked" and "like" in the chorus really helps to show how the character is discovering herself, as well as the change from "boyfriend" to "ex boy".
