Rietvlei Dam {I Caught my PB!!} S3 Ep17

I finally caught my PB of 14.5Kgs. Rietvlei Dam Carp Fishing.
I got to put my new Specimen gear to the test. We spent one night at Rietvlei and sat at Swim39.
Thanks to Jumbo Fishing Products.

i live about 20 min from rietvleidam, but i do not have a baitboat.... And without a baitboat i cant seem to catch any nice size fish. alot of the times we blank We are casting as far as we can - to about 140 meters with a 45gram weight do you have any tips for us ? At what distance do you catch the fish?

Casting will work at Rietvlei but sit in the slop side, so spots 33 down. Spots 5-7 are good for casting as well. With the water level being nice and low, you will get to the deeper zones. We have fished Rietvlei many times and blanked many times. So just keep at it. But a bait boat does help. 120m cast should be good, it’s a hell of a cast but try keep it in that area.
