So great to see Karolyi back doing his thing, unsurprisingly doing a fabulous interview with the incomparable Mike Mushok. I can not wait for the new album and to see Staind back on the road! I'm very much looking forward to more Saint Asonia music and shows, too! Thank you, Mike and Mike, and VR Sessions.

That was an awesome podcast. It is really exciting to hear about new Staind music possibly in the works. Aaron is one of my favorite singers of all time. Mike Karolyi: Not to take away from Mike, because he is an amazing talent and awesome guitar player, but it seems to me that Aaron for some reason gets passed over as being one of the greatest singers and lyricists of all time. Do you think he will ever get the credit he deserves in that respect? Also I have not heard Mike Mushok talk much about it, but my second favorite singer is Shaun Morgan, I wonder what Mike thinks about the songs, and shows he has played with Shaun.

I would pay to watch a live stream show. Obviously not as awesome as live in concert, but it'll be a good hold-me-over. I've seen Saint Asonia live twice and look forward to seeing them live again, one day \m/

When I have a sad day and try to listen to different songs to find the right mood.... randomly it plays a Staind song and at the same moment, I realise it brings me to the point. It is weird. I am a fan of so many bands but Staind there is a direct connection.

I would love to hear Mike talk about how his gear started and improved with Staind and if he uses different amps and speakers for Saint Asonia. Also, would Mike do another signature baritone or 7 string guitar in the future?

Mike! You’re awesome! Why did Staind and (Aaron Lewis) stop playing “home” ?? Seen you on two different tours, in two different states and didn’t get to hear it
@TheVRSessions3 жыл бұрын
will try to get you an answer about home.

Holy crap I got an answer. Lmao. I know it was a bit out of place, sorry about that. But we use the tools we have right? Staind was a huge part of my teenage years, I really can’t stress that properly, but I carried their music through my youth, the military, and just life in general. All in all I’ve seen Staind and Aaron 4 times in my life, but never get to hear the song that kicked off my adoration.... sorry for the long reply, just didn’t want to give the impression of some drunk guy during the set screaming “play freebird!!!”

How come this isn’t in VR???

We felt the long form nature of a podcast was better suited for traditional format. Maybe we'll release some clips in VR in the future. Thanks for watching!
