Now you see, children, your socio-economic status, which you as teenagers will have next to zero ability to meaningfully impact is perhaps the single greatest indicator of your social value among your peers. If you find yourself impoverished, simply find a classmate of even lower status to ostracized and socially isolate in the hope that the juxtaposition will place you higher within this animalistic hierarchy and win the acclaim of your betters.

And the movies they riff are a lot more watchable than what MKB usually go for, so it's an easy, cozy watch you can just throw on anytime. This run of TV movies has been some of my favorite material Rifftrax has done.

I like how the "cool" jukebox song sounds worse than the "uncool" one. Seems like a great metaphor for the popularity sweepstakes itself. What a bunch of self-important little a-holes. If this short is supposed to make me glad I'm old, it worked.

I was a blend of Peter and Marion. I had Peter's voluntary isolate status, but people spoke of me like a Marion. Even during the '90s, it was seen as odd for a girl to like science and listen to classical music. I learned very early on that "cleeques" aren't worth it.

Yes, it took me until high school to realize that very simple truth. WHY did I want to be part of their circle? Did I even like them? Would we have had anything in common? When I realized the answer to these questions was 'no' I felt a weight roll off of me. I became even more of a Peter and eventually, the bullies learned to just ignore me.

There are still a ton of good shorts on the Friends service like Color it Clean, Goodbye Weeds, and Fashion Horizons. Well worth subscribing for a few months to see. Then I purchased some of my very favorites of the bunch. I HIGHLY recommend the three Drawing for Beginners shorts. They're perfect riffing fodder.

The next day Marian took her dad's Infantry riffle and went to the clock tower. As she loaded the the weapon Marian noticed the notches on the side. "Dad's count was 20,huh?" She thought to herself. "Well then, let's see if we can top that....." and with a dead, emotionless eyes this lonely quite girl focused on the ones that betrayed her....and squeezed.
