Idk if I'd call it clean. Little sexist. But yeah, fuckin great
@greenwich1754
@greenwich1754 3 ай бұрын
@@spencerhjalseth7288 Well, what I mean by clean, is that it is as clean as anything on t.v. these days. You can be suggestive, and put out a line that takes your mind to a place that is not stated. That, in of itself is brilliant comedy, because without being overtly rude, the suggestive comment takes everyone to what the implication is, and we all share in the laugh.

I'm sure your father is in a better place now . This life could be a better place for all if we didn't spend so much money for the military , had laws governing the financial sector, and the filthy rich paid their fair share in taxes . you know the taxpayer paid for the development of the internet which was developed in the public sector .

@@turbojoe2 If you think it's because of your strawman "PC bogeyman" that you pedantic man-babies invented, then you're a simpleton. The _real_ reason TV sucks balls these days now is because today's vapid, shallow, material-obsessed populous doesn't give a damn about quality television; they just want thought-free, reality TV and edgy adolescent crap with raunchy humor and gratuitous cussing. Smart writing is a dead art.

@@turbojoe2 This was hardly the edgiest comedy there is. The simpsons for instance has always been way more over the top. That's been on forever.

I wish our local PBS station still aired this program! Harold reminds me of Dick Martin from Rowan and Martin's Laugh-In show back in the 60's.

For some odd reason, this very episode reminds me a lot about my experiences with living in Michigan's harsh snowstorms, although, fortunately, not a single one I've been in was THAT massive!

A couple of these Lodge members have been starred in American shows and I saw rg at the celebrity theater here in phoenix. I adore him! There is Mike the thief. Stars in a couple of commercials. And Graham Greene starred in dances with wolves, and the newsman from heehaw(a Canadian native). Also Colin mochrie ( from whose line is it anyway)!

Used to be this was staple in Iowa every Saturday night on Iowa Public Television. He or others from the show even showed up at fund raising time. He even held shows in various cities around the state.

Steve Smith noted that Iowa was one of the states which gave most generously during PBS pledge drives to keep the rights to Red Green re-runs. Enough to basically get their own episode, "Twinning", which was the 200th episode. Steve Smith also joked that he could probably get elected governor of Iowa if he wanted to.
