Observations: 1) Couldn't Slim Jim have done more to warn Trigby about the manhole, or at least bailed before they went in it? 2) Orville committed a pretty egregious bike- safety blunder too, which the narrator didn't comment on: Allowing his bike basket to become dangerously overloaded. That can cause serious problems relating to both balance and distraction. 3) I've seen arguments both for AND against what Philip did (Riding against traffic) in terms of safety. One in favor of it is that it lets the bicyclist better see oncoming cars and avoid them. People don't have eyes in the backs of their heads, you know. 4) The bulging eyes seen before a couple of the deaths (Philip's and Filbert's) were serious nightmare- fuel.

Orville secretly hated his "friends" and after months of subtle egging on, focused on their flaws. Kidnapping them was easy, the highly experimental genetic mutation Chambers were harder to come by. However after sedating them, and weeks of quiet reconstruction of DNA, Orville regresses his friends to primates, with only the desire to ride bikes and openly display previously subtle personality quirks. After one by one his "friends" succumbed to the inevitable kiss of death, Orville took every bag lunch and offered it to Baphomet. His dark lord rewarded him with a nifty 10 Speed Bike. All was well in the world.....

Agreed. Is this what Tim Burton thought Planet Of The Apes needed when he made that awful reboot with Mark Whalberg back in 2001? Well, that and lots and lots of LSD, and the really bad Ape-raham Lincoln statue at the end? It's so bad, it's almost a joke; really.

@@racheledwards2352 Oh, I know. Planet of the Apes(the original), is classic. Everyone and their grandmother knows it. But the Burton remake, I don't know what in the hell Burton was smoking when he made that. I'm glad I never saw that one. And I actually like Mark Whalberg, normally as an actor, but that movie was Hilariocity levels of bad, from what I've heard. And I think there was an old cartoon based on Planet Of The Apes, and like; a sequel to the original, right? Wasn't it called Return To The Planet Of The Apes? I mean; they do set up a sequel at the end of the movie, don't they? I was born in the 90's, so there's no way I would've seen the first one. And the remake of it just looks like an April Fool's parody movie. I'm just surprised it wasn't a comedy. How did the actors not break down laughing at their horrible makeup or just try not to have nightmares looking at their awful masks and terrible suits? How could they even tell who was who in that movie?
