Awesome video, thank you! I just set eye relief on my ATACR 4-16 and ended up with the eye piece nearly 2” behind the charging handle… Is this normal/acceptable? I feel like I always see scopes roughly inline with the charging handle.

Was just wondering when you'd upload another vid. Thanks man! Crazy knowledge drop on this one, I will definitely use this as a reference when I review my scoped carbine. Btw, are you still favoring/using the alpha tarac on non-scoped/red dot builds?
@saving_ryans_privatezАй бұрын
@@u2flying126 thanks man i know its been too long. The Aero drops next week. And not really. I just dont use it for what i do and i dont really see the significance on a magnied optic with reticle. I understand it, i just prefer it for a red dot gun if anything
@bigslice4738Ай бұрын
Would/ could/ can your LOP change when you’re prone or standing or is it more something you want to keep universal no matter what ? In small frame scoped setups Sorry if this was addressed I missed it sadly if so
@saving_ryans_privatezАй бұрын
@@bigslice4738 so its ok if it changes based on your comfort. I personally try and keep it universal as best i can though. For red dot carbines i used to be 3 notches out and then would rip it out for prone which better matched my precision rifles, but i ended up finding more comfort and better results when pulling it all the way out and even standing that way. Or at least a notch difference. But u as the shooter do what u need to do to ensure comfort
@bigslice4738Ай бұрын
@ gotcha I’ll probably watch this over a few times and test stuff out more. I’m typically the old 90 degree elbow guy and just roll with that, but fine tuning would be great

@@MitchRapp01 oh man that has been issue for some ppl for some reason. So the class mentioned in this video has passed but the one in Idaho im still working out the details on it. Hoping the last week of August. 4 days long of intro precision rifle but with more advanced things like angled shooting and a lot of positional use. Pricing will be inclusive of on site lodging but still hammering that out. Keep an eye on my IG and ill be posting it there. Thanks for the interest!
