It really depends on the program that your in. I know that Blue Devils, Cadets, Onyx, Pride all refer to triple time as something completely different. But no one "technique" is better then another they are all different.

At the "neck neck bolt bolt neck" part all I heard was the rifle squeaking and I mean if that doesn't some up all equipment I've ever used then what does 😂

OMG one hand looks so challenging, but on the other hand it looks cool to learn.

This is so helpful. I'm a freshman and this is my first time ever doing color guard. I'm also the only freshman on rifle so it's challenging being with juniors. Can you post a video on a good warm up routine I can do that'll help me get better?

This is extremely helpful.! Im replacing my old rifle, and I was wondering what yours is? I'm looking at the 36 in Elite Rifle used by WGI but I'm not sure about it.
@gvita9 жыл бұрын
My rifle was actually a 38 Ultimate but those got discontinued. I know use 36 or 37 3/4 elite rifles. Also 36 king rifles are good too!

It can be challenging! But remember baby steps are the key to learning anything :)

I did find it helpful but I can't seem to get the "small flip" if you could make a vid walking through just the interrupt and walking it though in steps slowly. Thanks!!

Sure! I'll go ahead and post a spin warmup, a toss warm up, and a combination warmup. If there is anything in particular that you would like to see in the warmup routines just let me know!

thankfully i already have spin taps down, i had no clue how important it was to do double time

For double time with both hands, is there a way to do it on the other side? When I was in band camp my director had us do it both ways. I haven't learned how to do it the other way that you didn't show. So she just had me stay on the side that you showed in the video. Can you make a video of both sides of the two hand double time? It would be so much help! Thanks!

so our high school doesnt use. and i quote my instructure. (pee wee rifles). we use M1 grands and Spring field rifles. for practice we put on 1 pound trick braces on each arm. and go through a drill with a 10 pound rifle then to the actual drill. we this year have learnt how to double spin or 2 rifle spin. (basicaly your spinning 2 rifles at once) it looks sick
@danielcolorguard62759 жыл бұрын
So you add weights to the rifles to make them heavier, and then take the weights off for performances?
@MarcellusEstacardo9 жыл бұрын
Ok we have wrist weights. 1 pound each making our rifles fell like 12 pounds inteade of 11. Practicing with these weights tricks your mind to think the rifle is heavier. So when we preform. We take the wrist wieghts off to make the rifle feel lighter. Magic. Its really weird phycology stuff

Hey just a disclaimer, these tutorials are not for "colorguard" in the sense of JROTC. These tutorials are for the less militaristic more artistic version of colorguard that is done in marching band. Thank you for your interest in my channel!

No rifle weighs ten pounds. The highest is 8 to 9 pounds. Weigh them if you dont believe me
