I remember telling some low levels I was Mayor of Watoga and the robots don't attack me... came with me to see I wasn't lying.... I watched as they got straight up annihilated by an Assaultron... good times....

Note! If you have a good melee build you can run around watoga and farm the protectrons and get up too 10,000 xp per 10min. With respective xp buffs

@@frostycalls5680 Why melee? So you're not using ammo, which requires resources and time to replenish. Other than that, go at it with whatever build you have.

@@themc3311 actually melee gives slightly more xp with a one hit wonder build, you essentially trick the game and get .2 extra xp

You hide behind the blue building on the top of the floor in Sneak Mode so no Robots find you and wait it out leaving the Scorchbeast(s) to distract the Robots when doing it Solo.

@@zknation8563likely the game has since been changed somewhat, sometimes you use the warren of rooms under the main roof top to find a hiding spot but usually I do as I posted before. Likely Bethesda nerfed the hiding behind the blue building to make it much more interesting than you wish for.

I did the sheepsquach quest because of ur video the other day. Thought I was going to have to do it solo until a dozen other people showed up which made it way easier. And watoga is a fun time to love ur videos keep up the good work

Statue heads are just art deco designs from the 50's. Its only weird because they used the head model in the bottom of the hole at Dunwich Borers in Fallout 4

Those faces belong to the mining families. There are some at the bottom of the mine where you get a cultist mask. The one with all the lead and crystal. Almost has a skyrim feel to it down there. Keep expecting to find tombs

If your holding a few power armor frames they make good door blocks to keep those robots off you during the roof fights.

IKR! Early on in the game when I needed Stims, like RIGHT NOW!, I knew right where to go. Even though I could even craft them as well, I never had the resources on hand. I need stim packs, should I hunt down some ticks, spend X amount of time hoping for tick blood, or just hop over to Watoga? hah good times.

I farm Ultracite ammo and stims thru daily ops also having pharma pharma perk on or a friend sharing it really helps, me and my friends will run thru locations with lots of medkits alot so many meds. I never have less than 100 stimpacks on me I sell a majority thru my vendor at 10 caps any extra I'll just sell to a vendor to much weight to deal with in a stash box

Honestly once your past level 100 or have all the main questline done,go ahead and do the side quests. They might not be as much worth it as others but they do benefit

Just a note about the final fight... If you have a good stealth build with a Good Fixer... I never got hit even once in this fight.

Thing to note if you have a jetpack if you die while doing the quest instead of needing to re go through the building like all buildings in watoga besides the ams headquarters theirs Few different methods to scaling to the roof of the municipal center

Remember the good old days when Watoga robots could be legendary? The Watoga train station and Phoenix were almost as good as Whitespring to find legendary items to buy cheap pre-scrip. Another senseless Bethesda nerf.

U can one hit most with mele power sneak atks. Also the hammer is a best second weapon for people that don’t use meles.

Watoga feels kind of out-of-the-way, tucked down into the corner of the map the way it is. But it is NOT. In a lot of ways, it's central to a lot of gameplay. The Scorched Earth events and Becker's quest ending up there makes Watoga important on its own, and having the Brotherhood vendor down there can mean that you're gonna be running through there frequently. Mayor For A Day is absolutely worth doing, as-- if nothing else-- it just removes a sizeable headache.

On the rooftop, you can just hide behind the building with the terminal and let the robots and scorchbeast fight each other. Rarely will a robot see you behind the building and the scorchbeast stays on the other side.

I always make a habit to kill the scavengers after a radiation rumble for easy loot

You can't kill all the robots; the city protection computer will kick one or two every two or three minutes, I guess to replace the ones you destroyed. Two side quests require you to be in watoga, one is mayor for a day and the Cop a squatter. Cop a squatter is a two parter, the first part is clear the building the mr. handy cop is in (5-6 zombies, 1 windigo, 2-3 little commiebots, one robot and a mr. handy) and the first part is done. you don't need to wander around the town. I used up three hundred bullets and shotshell couldn't kill all the robots (always carry a sword). the second part is, remove the squatters in cranberry bog about 5 miles away. Don't wander through the town if you don't need to.

Attacking allies is just wrong! LOL The gal that you can talk to (and oddly, the only othjer human character minus the hidden BoS daily ops fella) in Watoga is (in my opinion) the real saboteur; at the end of "Mayor for a Day" you and her are the only characters that have an "ally" status with the robots of Watoga and she dislikes humans - hmmm... Good vid btw.

@@jaxxmariee Same here. When the Kill 10 Legendary Enemies weekly challange pops up, I just fast travel to the fair grounds and server hop. Usually only takes about 30 to 45 minutes. Less if I get lucky.

if you wanna fight them after they're friendly, shoot their combat inhibitor until it breaks. it'll frenzy them which makes them attack everything, including you.

I have a question. Say you go through this whole Mayor for a day quest. The robots are now friendly. What happens when you interact with someone who hasn't done the quest. Someone who if you weren't there would be dealing with hostile robots. But you are there at the sametime they are. How do the robots act. Not the only part of the game where this situation happens. How does the game handle all these possibilities. That hurts my brain sometimes wondering about this stuff.

I’m new to fallout 76 and what are the best weapons and how do I get lots of ammo and how do I level up quickly cause me and my cousin are having a blast but our problem is that we don’t have ammo and weapons

I may be mistaken, but dont those Gutsy at the end spawn at the very minimum lvl 50 regardless of your lvl? I did it on a low lvl character before, and my friend who helped me (to go between locations etc you have to do) - did save me from a death to put it that way(he tanked and smacked them up good)/melee bloody build equipped with Unstoppable Monster. This was back before 1 wasteland though, so not 100% sure if its altered or not?

I believe it's because you had a friend with you that made them that level. Either way, you don't technically have to take out the robots. You just have to distract them long enough for the upload to process. They focus on you more than they do the processor. Just bring plenty of aid items, and keep your health up while the upload is processing.

@@RifleGaming aight, we thougth of that, but my friend wasnt grouped though. Just standing by. I think they spawned pre-Wasteland to lvl regardless based on zone in this case. I think now its likely changed due to wasteland perhaps hm. Anyways I dont have slots to test it regardless(all used for high lvl characters, leveloholic)
