CORRECT LYRICS DOWN BELOW HERE!
He's a stranger to some
And a vision to none
He can never get enough,
Get enough of the one
For a fortune he'd quit
But it's hard to admit
How it ends and begins
On his face is a map of the world
(A map of the world)
On his face is a map of the world
(A map of the world)
From yesterday, it's coming!
From yesterday, the fear!
From yesterday, it calls him
But he doesn't want to read the message here
On a mountain he sits, not of gold but of shit
Through the blood he can look, see the lives that he took
From a council of one
He'll decide when he's done with the innocent
On his face is a map of the world
(A map of the world)
On his face is a map of the world
(A map of the world)
From yesterday, it's coming!
From yesterday, the fear!
From yesterday, it calls him
But he doesn't want to read the message
He doesn't want to read the message
Doesn't want to read the message here
On his face is a map of the world
From yesterday, it's coming!
From yesterday, the fear!
From yesterday, it calls him
But he doesn't want to read the message here
From yesterday,
From yesterday,
From yesterday, the fear
From yesterday,
From yesterday
But he doesn't want to read the message
But he doesn't want to read the message
But he doesn't want to read the message here

Things will get better if you want them to. In the past few years I was able to quit my factory job, attend school, and receive my Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering and enhance my life beyond imagination, just by working an extra 20 hours a week for just under the past two years. Put your mind to the task, and you will acomplish it. Positive thinking, as corny as it may sound, really is they key; if you have faith in yourself and your own capabilities, you will succeed.

This song brings to mind my children. I was like most of you that have recently commented...depressed, obsessive, inflicting pain on myself...but no song can change that, and also no medication either. You have to find your own true "ZEN" as I like to call it, for it, my ZEN is my family. As others have commented, the ones you can trust and depend on are the ones still in your lives. Look at yourself and your surroundings. Get rid of the negative items, surround yourself with positive things.

I agree .I have given music a chance for the last few years and I cannot seem to emotionally attach myself to any new band or artist, it’s all garbage music. Bands like Linkin Park, Stone Temple pilots, Audioslave, 30 seconds to Mars, Nirvana, hell even Avril Lavigne holds more weight in my heart and I keep flocking back to them. I guess I’m stuck in the past when it comes to music and I’m OK with that :) cheers!

Comment 3 I used to feel depressed for more than 10 years because of a terrible youth, but about half a year ago, I was getting sick of it. All the negative energy, I wasn't going anywhere with it, it didn't help me at all, it only made others things around me worse, including myself. Stress stops you from progressing completely or almost completely, it's so bad for you. So after many months of thinking and trying, I started creating a new 'me'.

Here are my thoughts of the message of each line you may not necessarily agree with these thoughts so feel free to give your input thank you. the lyrics will be "like this" "He's a stranger to some and a vision to none" not many people really know him but he is easily ignored and not seen as visionary to any one "He can never get enough, get enough of the one" Every time he tries it doesn't feel like enough he doesn't feel like he is getting enough out of his one life "for a fortune queen, but it's hard to amend" Even with a lot of power and fortune his past mistakes keep coming back to haunt him "how it ends and begins" everything is just a cycle a start and a finish but it never changes with nothing to break the cycle "On his face is a map of the world" You can see from looking at him that he has been through a lot holding the weight of the world on his shoulders "from yesterday, it's coming. from yesterday, the fear. from yesterday, it calls to him" this seems to be that in the past everything is being left to him and it may still be there no mater how horrifying he has no choice but to listen and try to accept "but he doesn't want to right the message yet" he has a responsibility to carry out this message from the other lines it appears to be bad "On a mountain he sits, not of gold but of sin" Even if he is rich he may still be a monster from the crimes he has committed possibly against himself in that he feels it's a mountain "through the blood he can learn see the life that he took" when he looks at the evidence he has gathered from his past he can see what effects his actions have caused. "from a council of one he'll decide what he has done with the innocent" all on his own he has to accept that he has done things but is up to him to decide

That would be all good if these lyrics were correct, unfortunately there are a lot of errors in this lyric video.

I had a dream about the lead singer (Jared Leto), obviously I wasn't in it... That'd be weird. But after that one dream, I had an odd urge to listen to this. :o

One of my favourite songs since 2010, when I was got to know this band. From Yesterday it's coming...from yesterday the fear.. -my interpretation - NWO.. :/ Please, don't laugh ;P It's interesting about what they made this great song. What was their motive and interpretation..?? P.S. sorry for my english if it isn't good.

Now I Know it is about 2020, "on coronavirus face is a map of the world..." :O and he doestn't want to read the message - we don't know nothing when it will end, because coronavirus doestn't read this to scientists (scientists doestn't recognize about future of pandemic). P. S. My Overinterpretation :D

A lot of people (especially teenagers) feel out of control because of their depression. Self harm is a form of pain that they can control. But that's a misguided notion, because self harm quickly becomes an addiction and they lose control of it as well. Others cut because they want to feel something. Depression can cause a people to feel empty and cutting/burning/etc helps them prove to themselves that they're alive.
