I'm sure you've considered this, but why not make narrower 'cutouts' for the inner support structure for these higher quality printers? I guess using infill maintains higher compatibility for most people. I love the idea of infill (it's easy) but hate that it's not optimal. My Bambu leaves a tiny gap in cutout support structures but I didn't think it matters too much as it's still very strong.
@Olivier-C9 ай бұрын
the gaps are already only 0.1mm, if I make these smaller they are either ignored, or made larger, the slicers are too smart :)
@trafton009 ай бұрын
@@Olivier-C I see. You've pushed it to the limit. Another option is manually placing infill modifiers. I've done that before but it also creates a workflow that's hard to replicate consistently. Maybe fusion should allow modifiers that can be transferred over
@Olivier-C9 ай бұрын
@@trafton00 yep there's many options you'r right, but some are kind of only ok for personal use. Once a design is public, people will print it with so many different plastics and slicers and settings and whatever, so the workflow must be kept as simple as possible :)

Your planes are amazing. Thank you for the great design. Do you have the possibility to make a video of the interior with a DJI air unit? Do you have any special Inav settings, for example autolaunch? Thank you very much.

One more: no problem with bigger props, just throw it overhead with two hands. I made a switch in opentx that put the plane in angle mode and mixes 25%up elevator and say; Launch mode. I am very conservative person, don't want to mess up with the parameters of autolaunch. Just flip the switch, throttle as you feel, I give max and throw.

this is an awesome bird, but i have a question? If by any chance i have servo failure how would you replace it?
@Olivier-C8 ай бұрын
hot glue is easy to remove, can just pull with a little plier, or re-heat a bit with a hot soldering gun and it will melt just enough so you can pull the servo out. Also it's really rare to have a servo with metal gears die before a wing :)

hi olivier , is it impossible to fly without ınav systems

Yes thats doable, but these planks are not super stable, a flight controller helps a lot

@Olivier-C9 ай бұрын
salut! non pas de whasout il n'y a aucun vrillage sur mes avions, du coup ils sont fatalement un peu plus instables mais comme tous fait pour etre avec un controleur de vol ça n'est pas très génant,

Might make any sense filling the wings with expanded polyurethane so they are stronger and more tied together. May be for not making the model too heavy only a small amount on the front edge of the wing? I do not know... just wondering what is your opinion regarding that.
@Olivier-C9 ай бұрын
Its been suggested, but it would badly inflate the wings, the walls are only 0.4mm thick they have near zero resistance to bending. Unless there's some foam that would make very little overpressure ?
@PistiBala9 ай бұрын
I use Emax 1750kv 2207 with 7x4 prop on 3s for light builds, 6x4 on 4s, very good efficiency. For a little bigger plane, but maybe for this too, 2807 1750 kv 7x4 4s is also used on a Mini Talon, very good combo.

Any chance I can get the actual fusion files for V3 instead of exports? Exports have only bodies and no history. I'd like to make one but with some modifications. I love your design. So futuristic and cool looking, not the same old boring planes others make.

@@Olivier-C brother, can i make a request? Make a micro RC plane 3D Printed with 2 motor 1102.. must used PLA+ for the filament..
@gonzaloastorga8827 ай бұрын
HI @TDPro1 , I have printed this plane in standard PLA Matte from Bambu Labs and also added some ASA parts and it works fine. I was able to shave some grams by decreasing the infill in ASA parts. Also, I am running a 6s battery to handle the possible extra weight. I would say build it with whatever high quality PLA you have. Also I increased the normal temperature by 5 degrees as indicated by @Oliver-C, and I printed at 0.16mm layer height.

@Olivier-C9 ай бұрын
